Greystone Gardens

Greystone Gardens Flowers

We are so blessed that my parents live on such a beautiful slice of this earth! It has been almost 6 years since they moved out to Greystone Stables (right when I got canned from my job and started doing photography full time… you can read about that HERE) and about 2 years ago was the start of Greystone Gardens! Myself and my sisters take full advantage of the property and our families absolutely love going to “the farm” as the grandkids call it.

Greystone is 23+ acres of beautiful fields, paddocks, ponds and gardens. It is the home to 3 miniature horses (not ponies) and a silly donkey named Macon, even though my #norridnest calls him Bacon. Many of my KNP clients have met these sweet animals and its always a great treat for the kiddos when they are done with pictures with “Miss” Katie.

One of the favorite things my girls like to do at the farm is make bouquets from the beautiful flowers in Greystone Garden. I love picking tomatoes and frying up some fried green tomatoes. Back in June I decided I needed to document this beautiful spot on the property so I grabbed my 35mm camera and some Kodak Portra 160 and I just love them. I shoot all my personal stuff with Kodak film and all my professional work with Fuji. I love the colors so much with this roll and I hope you do too! Now you guys just wait til I post about all the pumpkins that are growing this year too!

Moon, the wild teenager

Every time we are at the farm we dream of the day when we can own land, grow our own food, raise chickens and watch our little nest run around wild and free!
